Step 1: Your Personal Planning Consultation

Every portrait begins with a conversation.

We'll get to know your pet's personality, discuss the portrait style you love, and explore how you'd like to enjoy your finished artwork.

Whether you're drawn to classic fine art dog portraits, colorful studio photography, or something imaginative, we'll plan an experience that feels distinctly yours.

Step 2: Your Studio Portrait Session

Your portrait session takes place at Kimberly Austin Photography's private studio in Lillington, NC, and lasts approximately one hour.

We'll work at your pet's pace, using professional lighting, carefully selected backgrounds, and gentle direction to capture their expressions and personality.

From curious puppies to dignified senior dogs, every pet is welcomed with patience, encouragement, and a little room for spontaneity.

Individual pet portraits are our specialty, with portraits including family members available upon request.

Step 3: Your Artwork Design Appointment

Approximately one to two weeks after your session, we'll meet in person or virtually to reveal your finished portraits.

Together, we'll select your favorites and explore custom artwork designed for your home, including Luxe Metal Wall Art, handcrafted albums, and other beautifully finished pieces.

You'll receive personal guidance on artwork sizes, finishes, and presentation so you can make selections with confidence.

Step 4: Your Artwork Arrives

Once your selections are finalized, your artwork is professionally produced and carefully inspected.

From statement wall portraits to beautifully designed albums, each piece is created to become part of your home and the story you share with your pet.

The result is something you'll enjoy seeing every day, long after the portrait session itself.
