FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTIONS

Portrait sessions take place at our boutique pet photography studio in Lillington, North Carolina, or at carefully selected outdoor locations throughout Central NC.

During your planning consultation, we'll help choose the perfect setting to complement your pet's personality and the portraits we're creating together. Private properties may also be considered when appropriate.

That's perfectly fine! Your dog doesn't need to know how to sit, stay, or pose for the camera.

Our pet portrait sessions are relaxed and designed around your dog's personality. We allow time for exploring, play, breaks, and plenty of encouragement. With patience, experience, and a few tricks of the trade, we'll capture beautiful expressions and genuine moments without expecting perfect behavior.

Some of our most memorable portraits come from dogs who have absolutely no intention of following directions.

Absolutely! While our specialty is pet portraiture, we always encourage owners to step in for at least one photograph with their pet.

The years we share with our dogs never seem quite long enough, and having a beautiful portrait together is something you'll appreciate for years to come.

Of course, the choice is entirely yours. Your pet remains the star of the session, and there's no obligation to purchase portraits of yourself.

Every portrait experience is a little different, and your investment will depend on the artwork and portraits you choose.

Portrait sessions begin with a $150 session fee, which includes your planning consultation and photography session. Finished artwork and digital collections are purchased separately, with no minimum purchase requirement.

During your artwork appointment, we'll help you explore the possibilities and select the pieces you love, whether that's a statement portrait for your wall, a beautifully designed album, or a collection of your favorite images.

For a closer look at our offerings and pricing, we invite you to explore our Investment & Artwork page.

After your session, I'll carefully select and finish your portraits, typically within two weeks.

Then comes one of my favorite parts: seeing your photographs for the first time! We'll arrange a personal artwork appointment where you can enjoy your portraits, explore the possibilities, and choose your favorites.

Whether you're considering a beautiful portrait for your wall, an album, or digital images, I'll be there to help you find what feels right for you and your home.
