WHERE DO PET PHOTO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

Every portrait begins with choosing the setting that best reflects your pet's personality and the story we want to create together.

Whether that's in our boutique studio, exploring one of our favorite outdoor locations, or on a private property, we'll help you select the setting that feels just right. During your planning consultation, we'll guide you through the options and design a portrait experience that's thoughtfully tailored to you and your pet.

WHAT TIME WILL OUR PHOTO SESSION BE?

The perfect time depends on the portrait experience we're creating together.

Studio Sessions offer the greatest flexibility and can be scheduled throughout the day since we control the lighting inside the studio.

Outdoor Sessions are typically photographed during the beautiful light shortly after sunrise or just before sunset, allowing us to create the rich color, soft light, and timeless atmosphere that define our outdoor portraits.

Urban Sessions are often scheduled earlier in the day to take advantage of quieter locations and the most flattering natural light.

River & Lake Sessions are seasonal experiences and are available on select weekdays when lighting and conditions are at their very best.

During your planning consultation, we'll recommend the ideal time for your session so every detail is thoughtfully planned before you arrive.

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL FOR A DOG PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION?

Most portrait experiences include travel within 35 miles of our studio.

If you have a special location in mind beyond that distance, I'd be happy to create a custom travel quote. Whether it's a family property, a favorite hiking trail, or another meaningful destination, we'll work together to create the setting that's perfect for your portrait experience.

WILL THIS BE REALLY EXPENSIVE?

Every client has different goals, which is why we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

Your portrait experience begins with a $150 Session Fee, and you'll have the freedom to choose the artwork that's right for your home and the way you'd like to enjoy your portraits. There is no minimum purchase requirement, although most clients invest $1,500 or more in their completed portrait experience.

Our goal has never been to create the least expensive portraits. It's to create an experience and artwork you'll feel confident was worth the investment.

Every session is designed around your pet—not the other way around. We'll work at their pace, capturing genuine expressions and natural moments without expecting perfection.

“What if my dog has to stay on a leash?”

Most dogs wear a leash during outdoor sessions for safety. I’ll professionally edit the leash out, leaving you with stunning portraits.

“I’m not sure what I’d do with the photos.”
